Black PIR Sensor Heads Now Available
We have now added black sensor heads to our PIR sensor head range. These black sensor heads are ideal for use in exposed ceilings where it's important that products blend in seamlessly with their surroundings. Sensor heads are available as a standard PIR sensor head, IP66, and Tamper-resistant versions.

CPR Compliance – In Brief
Although there are some exceptions, generally speaking it is illegal to install any cable that was placed on the market on or after 1st July 2017 that is not CPR compliant. We believe that CPR class CCA is destined to become the benchmark for many commercial installations in the UK. It provides the benefits of reduced reaction to fire in tandem with the robust verification process of System 1+.
New 3-7 Pole Plug-in Ceiling Rose
Prota plug-in ceiling rose is available in 3,4,5,6 and 7-pole options. It can be used for on/off, dimming, or specialised lighting applications. The pluggable connection means that luminaires can be connected and disconnected under load.

Plug-in Switches from flex7
flex7 have developed a unique range of plug-in switches that operate at Protected Extra Low Voltage (PELV) and offer the installer dramatic time savings. Switches are connected using a lead with RJ11 connectors, one end plugging into the switch, the other into the flex7 control pack or ZoneLite unit.
Integrated Emergency Test – The benefits
flex7 lighting controls are available with the added benefit of integrated emergency test. This feature can save time during both installation, and when carrying out periodic testing. Our lighting controls can easily be networked together meaning that rather than testing each circuit or phase separately, you can simply use one master key switch to test emergency luminaires across multiple circuits or even phases.

New July 2017 Cable Regulations – How will they affect the industry?
On July 1st 2017 a new and mandatory ruling with respect to making a cable’s fire related properties publically available came into force, but rather than diving straight into the specifics it may be more useful to start with something of an overview of how and why it came to be.
